This is one of the best ways to learn skill at handling Knights. The goal is for one student to take his or her Knight and reach A8 and return to A1. Black Knight goal is to reach H1 and return to H8. Neither player can capture a pawn, nor can he enter the center zone, which is called " the forbidden city ". If either player puts a Knight on a square where it can be captured by a pawn or Knight, he loses. |
