Several years ago, I decided I wanted to start my own Home-Based  Internet business right from the comfort of my computer room. I knew I was willing to spend the time and some money to get started. How much of each I wasn’t sure, whatever my budget dictated. I had no Business Plan. ( My first problem). I bought a couple of start up businesses and started putting them together but they never got off the ground because they didn’t work. I didn’t even make enough money to cover the cost of the courses. This time I started doing better research into each of these Home-Based Internet businesses. Just by reading through all of the hype and fancy web sites I hit on an idea, why not just build web sites??? Sounded pretty easy, I knew I was very computer literate. I already owned a computer so all I really needed was some kind of software to do it for me. I then thought why not just learn HTML language, then I can write each web page the way I wanted it to look???

I took an HTML class and learned a little, the instructor was terrible, but not enough to build web pages like I wanted to, because I was thinking mass production of easy web sites. Plus, I wanted something easier. There had to be an easier way to do this besides learning all of the HTML coding. I joined the computer book club online and ordered a bunch of computer books, some I used, some I did not. There was one specific set of books that came in extremely handy. One was the Frontpage Bible and the other was The Bible for, at that time, was Windows . Those 2 books paid for themselves over and over again because of the way they were written, extremely well.

There are 2 major pieces of software that make creating and editing web pages for web sites very easy, Frontpage by Microsoft and Dreamweaver. Frontpage or any WYSWYG ( What You See is What You Get )web site builder program is absolutely the easiest program to learn how to build web pages, bar none. It's also called point and click software. Basically you open Frontpage and open a pre-built web template then edit the pictures and the text, then upload it to your web server. If you want to learn HTML, then I have some free Ebooks for you to download. Here’s the test question, I can put together a web site with Frontpage in less than 15 minutes but HTML takes 60-90 minutes. If you’re focused on building simple, easy 1-5 page web sites, then which one will save you the most time and which one will allow you to build more web sites faster?? I highly recommend Frontpage or any WYSWYG web site builder program, any year, up until last year I was still using FP. If you own a MAC then you're already light years ahead of most people. Once I embarked on the Building of web sites for people or small businesses, especially home businesses, the money was pretty good but then I wanted to show people how to do this business and I realized that not everybody was as good a salesman as I was. So, back to the drawing board. By the way, stay away from Retail web sites or you'll be making 5 million changes every hour. They aren't worth your time. What would I have to do to take the sales out of selling web sites??? Several months later after taking the sales out of selling web sites to people, I came up with this idea. You are only looking for people that need some part time income or they have a great idea for a small business or maybe that have always wanted to start a web business but didn't know where to start. Usually if they don't fit one of these parameters then go find somebody else. Don't try to sell somebody something if they aren't interested. They have to have a need you can fill. I also came up with, as recently as last year, a way to collect money 2 times from hosting web sites and I don’t even need a server! That’s the Newbie Web Hosting Business. So you need to ask yourself what do YOU bring to the table when it comes to starting your very own home-based Internet business??? Or, Do you already have some kind of basic computer skills or are you just plain tired of your current job? Do you have a great idea or two or three for a product or service? Before you quit that job. Try this for at least a year so that you see how dependable the money is on a monthly basis. Plus you will also see the need for multiple avenues of income. Hopefully you already have a computer and a high speed internet connection, dial up will work but it’s just extremely slow, very slow…..Upgrade if at all possible. Do you have a mouse or a trackball so you can point and click? Then so far so good. Would you really like to start your very own home-based Internet business?? There is nothing in the world known as a free lunch and this is no different. You will have to invest a little money at a time but when it comes back to you in Profits, then re-invest part of that money back into your business and start paying cash for everything. Fortunately most of everything you will be purchasing for your Internet work-at-home business will be mostly software. There will be a couple of courses you will need, but all in good time. You don’t have to go out and buy everything I’ve outlined all at one, unless you want to jump right up to your neck in your new business. You can do it that way, it does work, but keep this in mind, that is a whole lot of reading to do. My advice is just take it slow to start off with and follow the plan. Let’s get you started in the right direction first just making some money. You need to start with 2 Ebooks if at all possible. I call it, The Companion Ebook Set.
